ZieZaZo Harmelen

Welcome to daycare centre ZieZaZo Harmelen, located at De Uithof 1 in the heart of Harmelen. We are part of ZieZaZo Harmelen B.V. and provide childcare for up to 46 children on this beautiful, green site. We organise care in two horizontal groups: a baby/toddler group and a toddler group, so every child receives the calm, space and individual attention they deserve. Our building is spacious and bright, with large rooms full of natural light. Each group has its own sleeping room and direct access to our big, sheltered garden. The garden is a true adventure: a lawn surrounded by trees, a climbing boat converted into a sandbox, an outdoor kitchen and plenty of space to cycle, climb and explore. When the weather is nice the door stays open and children can choose whether to play inside or outside. We follow the vision of Emmi Pikler: respect, calm and space for self-discovery are central. Our qualified, committed pedagogical staff are close to the children. We keep groups small and staff turnover low, so every child sees familiar faces and feels safe. Two pedagogical coaches support the team with on-the-job training and advice, ensuring high quality care. Our programme is tailored to the children’s age. For the youngest we provide bottle feeding, nappies and a calm sleep routine. Toddlers enjoy age-appropriate activities such as toddler yoga, music lessons and creative outings. We also use the BSO art studio for extra creative expression. Each year we arrange a professional photo shoot as a gift for parents. ZieZaZo Harmelen is small-scale and personal. We know each other, greet each other by name and together create a second home where children can grow in confidence. We offer an extensive, free settling-in period and flexibility through an hour bank system. Breakfast, lunch, fruit and snacks are included. Feel free to visit and experience our warm atmosphere!
