Club Basker International - The Estate

Welcome to The Estate Out of School Care, located in the leafy Benoordenhout district of The Hague. Our listed building was fully renovated in 2014 and is recognised as one of the most eco-friendly childcare centres in the Netherlands. We provide after-school care for up to 112 children aged 4 to 12. Outdoor play is at the heart of The Estate. Our 3,000 m² natural playground is divided into age-appropriate zones and features a tree house, wooden bridge, sports court, vegetable gardens, trampoline, survival trail and even a small pet corner. Children garden, climb and take on sporting challenges under the guidance of our qualified pedagogical staff. Inside, an open central hall offers space for games and relaxation, while our in-house chef prepares fresh, organic and nutritious meals and snacks every day. Special dietary needs can be catered for on request. Parents can enjoy a self-service coffee corner with espresso machine and a dedicated parents’ room with Wi-Fi, perfect for a quick catch-up or some quiet work time. The Estate is a one-minute walk from bus stop ‘Jozef Israëlsplein’ and easily reached by public transport. We offer private parking for cars and ample bike storage. We are open Monday to Friday all year round, closing only on official Dutch public holidays. Feel free to arrange a visit and see for yourself why children love coming to The Estate after school.
