Zanzibar

Welcome to BSO Zanzibar, located in primary school De Oranjerie at Zanzibarplein 32 in Zoetermeer. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 8.5 years. Every day is different at our BSO as we constantly try new things! Our pedagogical staff pick up children on foot from nearby primary schools. For schools located further away, we use our own bicycle buses or arrange transportation with a taxi company. Together with the schools, we have established safe pick-up points. At BSO Zanzibar, children can enjoy themselves in various activity corners: playing in the doll corner, racing in the car corner, building in the construction corner, or relaxing in the chill corner. We gather around our cozy dining and conversation table for chats. We often play outside on the school playground or use the basketball and football field next to our BSO for sports and games. Indoors, we have our own atelier where we get creative with woodworking, painting, and drawing. Our opening hours are: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Wednesday from 12:15 PM to 6:30 PM, and Friday from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM. During school holidays, we are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. We also offer a breakfast club from 7:30 AM until school starts. We accommodate up to 46 children and have been registered in the National Childcare Register since September 21, 2023.
