Woudrijk

Woudrijk Daycare Center is located at Tirionlaan 1 in Utrecht and is part of Kind&co ludens, the largest social childcare organization in the Netherlands. We provide care for children aged 0 to 4, divided into four groups: one baby-toddler group and three mixed-age groups. Our group spaces have a calm atmosphere thanks to natural materials and colors. There is plenty of development-oriented play material for children to explore and play with. Our daycare has its own outdoor playground with a separate outdoor box for the youngest, a sandbox, play equipment, and vegetable gardens where children can play and discover together with our pedagogical staff. We follow our Pedagogical Heart: children feel safe, have fun, and explore the world in a rich environment with natural materials. We use the Uk & Puk method, focusing on language development and attention to social-emotional, motor, and sensory development. The day follows a fixed rhythm with activities such as reading aloud, singing, play, and crafts, always tailored to a theme. We regularly offer workshops, including music workshops. Recently, we also started a bilingual English-Dutch group, where children are introduced to the English language in a playful way.
