Welcome to Peutergroep Wollewietje, a warm and inviting location of Quadrant Kindercentra in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel. We provide a safe and stimulating environment specifically designed for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. Our goal is to give every child the space to develop optimally, learn through play, and prepare for primary school. Our bright and cozy space is set up with various play corners that invite exploration and play. Children can let their imagination run wild in the home corner with a shop, race cars in the construction corner, or quietly read a book with the teacher on the comfortable sofa. We also offer a play table where children can experiment with sensory materials like sand, water, rice, and shells. This not only stimulates their senses but also their fine motor skills and creativity. Our large outdoor playground is a true paradise for toddlers. With a challenging sandbox, bikes, tractors, and a go-kart, children can have a wonderful time and develop their gross motor skills. We believe in the power of outdoor play and natural materials to let children learn by doing. At Wollewietje, we work with a preschool education program (VE). This means we work on your child's development through play and identify and address any delays early on. We follow a consistent daily routine with plenty of repetition, giving children a sense of security and structure. At the same time, we take into account the unique personality of each child, allowing everyone to develop at their own pace.
