Welcome to BosKids, the after-school care (BSO) of Woldkasteel B.V. located on Tukseweg 158 in Tuk, on the edge of the Woldberg near Steenwijk. Our homely and relaxed BSO offers children aged 4 to 12 a welcoming place to unwind after a busy school day. At BosKids, ‘coming home’ starts with sharing fruit and a drink—tea, water, or juice—around the table while the children tell us what’s on their minds. Then they choose what they want to do and with whom. Our trusted pedagogical staff pick the children up from school and guide them to the location. We work with a consistent team so that every child always sees a familiar face. Our activity programme is challenging and varied. BosKids makes full use of the beautiful outdoor area: we set out from Tuk’s Theehuis, search for insects, climb trees, and even teach children how to earn their pocket-knife diploma. Everything is included: activities, materials, and excursions. During term time and holidays alike we provide a rich mix of nature, movement, and creativity. The location is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 113 337 176 and is supervised by the GGD. We communicate with parents through a convenient parent app, allowing you to send a quick message and receive photos and practical information. Signing children in and out is just as easy. At BosKids we value a healthy lifestyle. We provide healthy food and plenty of fresh air. Our spacious garden with large trees and the adjacent forest give children all the room they need to play, explore, and move. Together we create a safe and familiar environment where children can develop and have fun.
