Welcome to Woest Zuid Bertelmanplein, our after-school club in the heart of vibrant Amsterdam-Zuid. As soon as the school day ends, we pick the children up with our E-WOEST® and bring them to our clubhouse at Bertelmanplein 90. Here, the adventure begins for up to 48 children every day. Everything we do revolves around the joy of movement, seen through the eyes of the child. We work in age groups: 4-6 year-olds enjoy imaginative games and first sporty discoveries, while 7-12 year-olds are offered challenging sports and movement activities tailored to their developmental level. Our spacious outdoor area and sporty setup invite climbing, running, balancing and playing. We believe children learn most when they can discover for themselves what they are capable of. Therefore we provide a safe environment where they can move freely, experiment and cooperate. Our team consists of young, athletic pedagogical staff who challenge every child at their own level. They are not only supervisors, but also role models who pass on the joy of movement. We organise creative themed periods, develop our own workshops and make sure no afternoon is ever the same. During holidays the BSO transforms into a full-day programme packed with sports, games and adventure.
