Wiedewei Puttershoek

Welcome to Wiedewei Puttershoek, our green daycare centre located at Ring 25 in the heart of Puttershoek. As part of Kibeo, we provide a safe place for babies, toddlers and preschoolers where nature and greenery are central. In our spacious garden we grow our own fruit and vegetables; in this way the children learn in a playful manner where food comes from and become acquainted at a young age with everything that grows and blooms. We work with the Early Childhood Education programme Toddler Start. Through nature themes, toddlers develop their language, numeracy and motor skills. We sing songs about the seasons, count flowers and discover colours in the vegetable garden. Our pedagogical staff follow the rhythm of home; babies are quietly given their bottle and toddlers and preschoolers can take a nap in our fresh outdoor beds after a healthy hot meal. Healthy food is part of our green identity. Every day we serve a fresh, hot meal full of vitamins and minerals. Allergies and dietary requirements are discussed personally with parents, so that every child can eat safely and enjoyably. Our groups are arranged by age, giving babies, toddlers and preschoolers all the space they need to play and grow at their own pace.
