Welcome to Wiedewei Paddewei Barendrecht, our green childcare centre right in the heart of Barendrecht. Everything we do revolves around being outdoors, exploring and learning through play. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 3 in a homely setting where nature takes centre stage. Our garden is a true paradise for little explorers. With vegetable beds where the children grow their own vegetables and flowers, they learn about nature and the importance of sustainability in a playful way. From sowing and watering to harvesting and tasting – every season brings new adventures. We also craft with found materials such as leaves, sticks and stones. One moment a stick is a soup spoon in our mud kitchen, the next it’s a magic wand and later a bridge for insects. For the very youngest we have a calm baby group where our childcare staff, trained as baby specialists, instantly recognise your child’s signals. We follow the home routine as closely as possible so your child feels at ease right away. And did you know that our babies can enjoy a lovely nap outdoors? Fresh air and the rustling of leaves make for a soothing sleep. At lunchtime we serve a healthy, hot meal. We use fresh ingredients and ensure balanced nutrition, giving the children all the energy they need to explore the world. At Wiedewei Paddewei Barendrecht children grow up in a safe, warm environment where they can develop at their own pace. We believe children learn best by playing, investigating and being together with friends. That’s why every day we offer new opportunities to discover nature and have fun.
