Wiedewei Burgh-Haamstede

Wiedewei Burgh-Haamstede is our green childcare centre at Julianastraat 22 in the heart of Burgh-Haamstede. We provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 in a calm, natural setting. Our location is within walking distance of CBS Onder de Wieken and OBS De Kirreweie, with whom we work closely. Everything we do revolves around nature, discovery and growth. The very youngest meet their first little friends in our cosy baby group. Our pedagogical staff are specially trained as baby specialists and recognise the smallest signals from your child. The baby groups are arranged peacefully, giving your child all the space to develop at his or her own pace. For toddlers we organise daily activities with natural materials. We spend as much time outdoors as possible: splashing in puddles in autumn, building sandcastles and rolling through the grass in summer. A stick is first a spoon in the mud kitchen, then a magic wand and then a bridge for little creatures. We use all materials sustainably and creatively. We offer a hot meal at lunchtime and use the Early Childhood Education programme ‘Peuter Start’ so your child is well prepared for primary school. Our team is ready every day to give your child a safe, familiar place to grow and flourish.
