Welcome to Wiedewei Boezemsingel Oud-Beijerland, a green day-care centre run by the Kibeo foundation in the heart of Oud-Beijerland. At Boezemsingel 5 we offer a safe and trusted place where children from 0 to 4 years discover, grow and make friends through play. Being outdoors is at the heart of our approach: every day we head outside to explore the greenery, play with natural materials and learn from the changing seasons. Our small-scale groups – a maximum of 16 children – provide calm and overview, ensuring every toddler and baby receives the personal attention they deserve. Our pedagogical staff are trained as baby specialists and closely follow the signals of the very youngest. We work according to a clear pedagogical policy in which nature, sustainability and talent development go hand in hand. Pre-school education (VE) is standard practice: we stimulate language, numeracy and social skills in a playful way, tailored to the world of young children. Through our parent portal we share daily photos and reports so you can follow your child’s adventures. At Wiedewei Boezemsingel your child gets a green start. We crawl through the grass, feel leaves and flowers, build with sticks and stones and discover the wonderful world around us. Getting dirty is allowed – we teach children that natural materials offer endless possibilities. In this way they grow in self-confidence and develop a sustainable view of the world, right from the very first years of life.
