Westerbreedte

Westerbreedte is a daycare centre that, together with the primary school Kindcentrum Westerbreedte, forms a warm and safe place for children aged 0 to 4 in the Kruiskamp district of ’s-Hertogenbosch. We are part of Kanteel, an organisation with over 30 years of experience in childcare, focused on the development of children from 0 to 13 years. At our location on Jan Olieslagersstraat 51, we can accommodate up to 92 children. We provide care in horizontal groups, grouping children by age. At Westerbreedte, your child’s development is our priority. We follow a clear pedagogical policy that emphasises language development, social skills and independence. For toddlers, we offer early childhood education (VE), where we work playfully on language and school readiness. Themes such as the seasons are explored, and children learn new words every day. Children who are still learning Dutch receive playful extra support. Our location is part of Kindcentrum Westerbreedte, allowing for a seamless transition to primary school. We work closely with the teachers and pedagogical staff of the child centre to provide a continuous developmental path. Parents are actively involved in their child’s development, and we are always open to questions and discussion.
