Wervelwind

Welcome to Daycare Wervelwind, a warm and familiar home for children aged 0 to 4 in the heart of Broekland. We are part of childcare organization KOOS and offer small-scale care in a cozy house at Oerland 3. The house is situated in a quiet spot, surrounded by a garden where children can run, discover plants and animals, and experience adventures together. Our location borders toddler group ’t Peuternest, after-school care Blitz and primary school G. Majellaschool, ensuring a smooth transition for children in the future. At Wervelwind, everything revolves around space for who you are. We work with permanent pedagogical staff who create a safe and challenging environment every day. Our activities are tailored to the age and development of each child. We read a book together, craft our own world, or go out to walk in the forest, count animals in the meadow, or do some shopping in the Parabool. This way, children learn about the world around them through play. We use the development program Uk & Puk, which stimulates language, motor skills and social skills in a playful way. Inside we have a large activity room where children can build, play or sleep peacefully. When the weather does not allow outdoor play, we look out the windows at the garbage truck or passing cars and turn it into a game together. Daycare Wervelwind has been officially registered since January 1, 2010 and offers space for a maximum of 16 children. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00.
