Welcome to Wereldwijzer, our day-care centre located at Nachtegaal 144 in the heart of Hoorn. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang West-Friesland and have been providing trusted, professional childcare in the region for over forty years. At Wereldwijzer, children aged 0 to 4 find a safe, stimulating and homely environment where they can playfully discover who they are and what they are good at. Our qualified pedagogical staff follow the recognised VVE programme ‘Samen van Start’. This pre-school education programme dovetails seamlessly with the kindergarten classes at Kindcentrum Wereldwijzer, giving your child a continuous developmental path from baby to toddler. In our vertical group, children of different ages learn from one another while each child is given the space to develop at his or her own pace. We offer a rich range of activities that stimulate language development, motor skills and social interaction, always tailored to the world of experience of young children. Our premises are modern and secure, featuring a dedicated sleeping room, changing area and a private outdoor playground. We operate flexible opening hours from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., 52 weeks a year. During the day we provide healthy snacks, bread meals and bottle feeding when required. We also actively accommodate allergies and dietary preferences. Parents stay informed through our app and we always schedule a free two-week settling-in period so your child can adjust calmly.
