Welcome to Wereldkwartier, our daycare centre located right in the heart of Arnhem. We are part of SKAR, Stichting Kinderopvang Arnhem en Regio, and have been providing professional childcare for children aged 0 to 4 for 125 years. Our premises at Gravenstraat 9A offer 48 places and operate two horizontal groups: separate baby and toddler groups. This way every child receives the care and attention that matches his or her developmental stage. Our team consists of enthusiastic, committed and highly trained pedagogical staff who approach each child individually. We follow your child’s own rhythm and provide tailor-made activities. In addition, we offer pre-school education (VVE); children with a VVE indication receive an average of 15 hours of care per week since 1 January 2023, spread over at least four sessions of 3.75 hours. This programme supports language and social-emotional development and optimally prepares toddlers for primary school. Outside we have a fantastic natural play area where children can romp, explore and play. The garden offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities and nature experience. Inside we have separate sleeping rooms so every child can rest whenever needed. Our opening hours are 07:30 to 18:30, allowing parents to use our services flexibly. Wereldkwartier is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 131612189 and is supervised by the GGD. Daycare is available here, and at the same location you will also find after-school care and toddler programmes.
