Welcome to BSO ’t Nokkenwiel Boerenpad, the after-school care location in Alblasserdam where children from grades 1 through 8 are truly seen and encouraged to discover for themselves. Our home at Boerenpad 1 offers a safe, inspiring environment focused on relaxation, learning, movement and discovery. What makes our BSO unique is our complete focus on cooking and baking. Children grow their own vegetables and herbs in our kitchen garden and then use these ingredients in their own dishes. This is not only highly educational, but also super fun and healthy. In this playful way, children learn about nutrition, nature and sustainability. Our pedagogical vision is based on a positive approach. We look at each child's talents and provide appropriate guidance that contributes to growth in self-confidence and personal development. Through DoenKids we offer a wide range of activities, from sports and movement to creative workshops. There is always something suitable for your child's age and interests. Of course, children can also simply relax after a busy school day. During school holidays we organize many trips to the sports BSO, nature BSO and Kinderdijk playground. This keeps our offering varied and challenging even during school vacations. We are located at Boerenpad 1 in Alblasserdam and work closely with primary school ’t Nokkenwiel, so children can come to us directly after school. Our BSO is for all children from grades 1 through 8 and offers before-school care from 7:00 AM until school starts and after-school care from the end of school until 6:30 PM. With space for a maximum of 44 children, we ensure a homely atmosphere where every child feels at home.
