Wasko Oranje Nassau KC BSO at Leeuwerikstraat 7 in Papendrecht is the place where children aged 4 to 12 can unwind and recharge after school. Located in the same building as Oranje-Nassau primary school, the transition from classroom to after-school care is safe, familiar and wonderfully easy. Our qualified pedagogical staff offer a challenging and varied activity programme tailored to each age group. Toddlers (4-6 years) have plenty of space for role play and imagination, while children aged 7-9 enjoy sports and creative challenges with peers. Older children (10-12 years) focus on greater independence and making their own choices within our broad activity range. We use DoenKids, an activity library full of inspiration in sports, games, creativity, technology, nature, music and cooking. During every school holiday we organise a special holiday programme packed with exciting activities and outings. Of course, children can also simply relax after their school day; there is always a quiet corner available. Our Christian identity forms the foundation of everything we do. We often start the afternoon with a quiet moment or Bible story, say grace before meals and pay attention to the meaning of Christian festivals. All staff members have an affinity with the Christian faith and naturally pass on these values to the children. Wasko has been the regional childcare organisation in the Alblasserwaard for over 35 years. We work closely with schools and translate the school's pedagogical vision into our BSO.
