Wasko Oranje Nassau BSO

Welcome to Wasko BSO Oranje Nassau, located right inside CBS Oranje Nassau primary school at Merwestraat 16 in Sliedrecht. We provide before- and after-school care for children in grades 1 through 8, aged 4 to 12. Because we are literally inside the school building, the move from classroom to after-school care is safe, familiar and effortless. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready to greet the children every morning and afternoon. The day starts calmly with a joint breakfast or a craft table, after which the children decide for themselves what they would like to do. In the afternoon there is always time for a snack and a drink so that everyone can unwind from the school day. Then the real fun begins: we have access to the school’s spacious gym, enjoy views over the Sliedrecht harbour and make grateful use of the playground and schoolyard. What makes us special is the wide range of activities drawn from the DoenKids activity library. Each week the children choose anew from sports, games, creative workshops, technology, nature and music activities or cooking. One day might feature a lively football clinic on the pitch, the next a quiet hour of sculpting or an exciting scavenger hunt around the harbour. During school holidays we run a special holiday programme packed with outings and themed days that create lasting memories. We work closely with CBS Oranje Nassau. Childcare climate, activities and agreements are aligned so that care and education blend seamlessly. Our vision is simple: children develop best in a positive environment where they are seen and challenged. We therefore look at each child’s talents, guide them towards independence and give them room to build friendships. Together we create beautiful childhood memories.
