Welcome to BSO Johannes Calvijn, a welcoming after-school care facility located within the Johannes Calvijnschool at Scheldelaan 15 in Sliedrecht. We provide care before and after school for children from Grade 1 to Grade 8. Our BSO has a capacity of up to 22 children and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since January 1, 2023, under number 161810949. Everything we do is based on a positive approach. We believe this helps children develop better and boosts their self-confidence. Our pedagogical staff focus on each child’s talents, monitor their development, and support them throughout their time with us. The staff embrace the reformed identity of the school, ensuring that Christian themes are naturally integrated into daily care. In addition to attention to faith and identity, there is plenty of room for play and relaxation with books or games. The child within the group is central: independence is encouraged, but always within the safe context of the group. We also place great emphasis on healthy nutrition and physical activity, supporting the overall development of every child. We work closely with the Johannes Calvijnschool. This partnership ensures a consistent approach to your child’s upbringing and development. The BSO uses the school’s facilities, providing a familiar environment and a smooth transition from school to after-school care. On weekdays, parents can make use of before-school care from 7:00 to 8:30 AM and after-school care from 3:30 to 6:30 PM. On Fridays, after-school care starts at 12:30 PM.
