Wasko Het Visje PSG

Welcome to PSG Het Visje, our small-scale toddler playgroup in the heart of Papendrecht. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 in a homely atmosphere at P.J. Troelstrastraat 98, within walking distance of shopping centre De Meent. As a VE (early childhood education) location, we pay extra attention to language development and identify possible delays at an early stage. We work thematically: together with parents and children we choose topics that match their world of experience. We recently organised an art week where the toddlers created their own exhibition and proudly showed it to mum and dad. Our Christian identity is reflected in small things: we start the day with a short Bible story, sing together and learn to respect each other. The pedagogical staff have an affinity with these values and guide the children with warm attention. Inside we have various play corners: a construction corner, a home corner, a reading corner and a creative table. Outside, children can romp on our safe playground or sit quietly in the sandpit. We encourage independence and social skills by letting children make their own choices and teaching them to take each other into account. Through the Parent App you receive daily photos and short messages about your child's experiences. This way you are still a bit involved, even when you are at work. We work with horizontal groups: toddlers of the same age sit together, so that we can respond well to their developmental level. In short: at PSG Het Visje your child has the space to grow, play and discover in a safe, loving environment.
