At KDV Dikkertje Dap in Arkel, we know exactly what your child needs: good care combined with loving attention. Our location at Harpstraat 13a provides childcare for up to 40 children aged 0 to 4 years. We have been officially registered since January 1, 2010 and meet all national quality requirements. For the youngest children (0 to 1 year), we work with baby specialists who recognize and respond to your baby's individual needs. We give your child the attention that matches their age and developmental stage. Our approach is to give your child space to discover things on their own. We encourage at the right moment and provide the guidance your child needs. We work with challenging themes and age-appropriate activities that appeal to your child. Think of crafts, circle games, making music and playing with peers. Our staff provide challenging toys and creative materials that contribute to your child's development. Additionally, Dikkertje Dap is a VE location (Early Childhood Education), which means we work on developing language, math and social skills in a playful way. This provides a good preparation for primary school. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:00. We also offer the possibility of half-day care.
