Wasko De Wielen BSO

We are BSO De Wielen, located on the ground floor of Integral Child Centre (IKC) De Wielen at P. Zandtstraat 1 in Papendrecht. As part of Wasko Kinderopvang, we have been providing after-school care since 2010 for children in grades 1 through 8. We work closely with OBS De Wielen and align our activities with the themes being explored at school. This strengthens the connection between school and childcare and makes the experience familiar and fun for children. Our pedagogical approach is positive and talent-focused. We believe children develop best when they feel seen and valued. That’s why we look at what each child needs, offer space to relax, and provide opportunities to be challenged. We monitor your child’s development and tailor our activities accordingly. Together with the children, we choose from the wide range of DoenKids activities: sports, games, creative workshops, technology, nature, music, and cooking. There’s always something that matches their interests. Our location has two core groups and two spaces: the atelier and the central room on the upper floor. We offer care before school (VSO), during lunch breaks, and after school. During school holidays, we join forces with BSO Anne Frank and organize a special holiday program full of unique activities. Think excursions, sports and games, creative projects, and nature experiences. Together, we create lasting childhood memories. BSO De Wielen is small-scale and safe. We accommodate a maximum of 30 children, allowing us to give each child personal attention. Our pedagogical staff are professional, caring, and ready to give your child a great time. We work in a warm atmosphere where there is room for rest, play, and development. In short, we offer children a second home.
