Wasko De Springplank Sport BSO

We are Wasko De Springplank Sport BSO, located at Burgemeester Keijzerweg 110 in the heart of Papendrecht, right next to the shopping center. As part of the social childcare organization Wasko, we have been providing sporty after-school care for up to 50 children since August 1, 2015. Our location is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 158810387. Movement is central to everything we do. We are a Healthy Childcare Organization and believe that sport and play are essential for children's development. Children from all schools in Papendrecht are welcome from the age of 8. They can get acquainted with numerous sports and challenging game activities such as live Stratego and Air hockey. These energetic activities take place under expert guidance and having fun together is always our priority. Our starting point is that children learn to seek challenges in a natural environment, to entertain themselves and thus develop step by step. Of course, there is also room for rest. When children don't feel like sports, they can simply read a book or make a drawing. Our pedagogical staff ensure a safe, homely atmosphere in which every child feels at home. During school holidays we remain open, so parents can bring their children to us with peace of mind. We work closely with all primary schools in Papendrecht and pick up children after school. For parents who don't want to use our sports BSO every day, it's possible to combine it with one of the other Wasko BSO locations in the municipality. This way they can put together exactly the care that best suits their child and family. Our staff are trained to stimulate and guide children in their development. We offer an environment where children can discover where their talents lie and learn to work together, take others into account and push their own boundaries.
