Waldorfhaus Toermalijn

Waldorfhaus Toermalijn is a small-scale daycare centre located in the Fivelingo neighbourhood of Zoetermeer. We provide care for up to 13 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our approach is grounded in anthroposophy, reflected in our warm, secure environment, the use of natural materials and our vegetarian, unprocessed meals. Each child is given the space to develop at their own pace. Our team of qualified pedagogical staff treat every child as a unique individual. The rooms are carefully arranged according to Waldorf principles, with soft colours and wooden toys that stimulate the imagination. The day follows a gentle rhythm aligned with the young child’s natural cycle. There is ample time for free play as well as shared moments such as singing, storytelling and simple artistic activities. Our sheltered outdoor area allows children to run, build sandcastles and experience the changing seasons. For babies we provide separate sleeping areas and bottle feeding tailored to your child’s needs. We coordinate care with your home situation and respect individual requirements. Our pedagogical policy is available on site and can also be requested digitally.
