Villa Kakel-Bont

Welcome to BSO Villa Kakel-Bont, our cheerful after-school care located in the multifunctional centre De Vogelweide at Merellaan 3 in Schoonhoven-Oost. We are conveniently situated right next to Koningin Emmaschool and Ichthusschool, so children can walk in safely straight after school. Our spacious hall is bursting with challenging play and game options. There is always something to do: crafting, playing a game or baking something tasty together in our modern kitchen. When the weather is nice we head outside; the sprinkler goes on and the children can run, jump and romp to their heart’s content. We work with two clear age groups. Children aged 4 to 5 join our group ‘de Papegaaien’. Once they turn 6 they move on to BSO ‘de Waterviolier’. This keeps everything clear and allows us to tailor activities precisely to the children’s world of experience. Parents can choose between a 40-week or 52-week contract. This means you decide whether your child also comes to us during the school holidays—handy if you have holiday yourself or arrange care differently during that period. We share photos and messages through our own parent app KOS, so you can enjoy all the adventures your child experiences with us. Every day is a party: eating, drinking, playing and discovering new things together. No child will be bored, because there is always a fun activity or outing in the making.
