VSO Schuttersplein

VSO Schuttersplein is located at Stalkaarsen 17C in Gorinchem and is part of SKG Kinderopvang Gorinchem. The facility offers before-school care (VSO) and is easily accessible by car and bicycle, close to the highway and the Piazzacentrum. At VSO Schuttersplein, the child is at the center of everything we do. Every day starts with a new adventure, giving children the freedom to explore and take on challenges. We offer a varied range of activities, ensuring there is always something to do for both younger and older children. Our pedagogical staff encourage each child's talent development and provide activities that match their interests and developmental level. We follow the pedagogical policy of SKG, which emphasizes structure and a clear daily routine. This provides children with a sense of safety and stability. Our location is playfully designed to inspire and stimulate children throughout the day. SKG is also affiliated with Gezonde Kinderopvang (Healthy Childcare). We not only provide healthy meals but also encourage sufficient physical activity and an active lifestyle. We collaborate with schools, the municipality, and local communities to give children a solid foundation for their future. VSO Schuttersplein accommodates up to 45 children aged 4 to 12. We operate with two fixed groups: the Madeliefjes (4 to 8 years) and the Klaprozen (6 to 12 years). Each child is assigned a mentor who regularly discusses the child's development with the parents and serves as a point of contact for any questions.
