BSO Schoolwoningen

BSO Schoolwoningen is located in the school building 'De Ark' at Aalbersestraat 2 in IJsselstein. Our location is within walking distance of other school locations in Zenderpark and is directly accessible for children from De Ark primary school. We provide after-school care for children from De Ark, De Pijler, De Torenuil and Torenuil WOC primary schools. At Schoolwoningen, we work with two vertical group spaces: the Poemas and the Panthers. This setup allows us to provide care for two age groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. We believe it's important that every child feels at home and has the space to be themselves. Our pedagogical approach is based on the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&Co Ludens. This means we focus on four core values: feeling good and having fun, growing and discovering, providing a rich environment, and being together. For us, playing is discovering and learning. We actively offer an inspiring and challenging environment where children can play, discover and have fun with friends. We are open Monday through Thursday. During school holidays and study days, we provide care from 7:30 to 18:30. Our staff picks up children after school from the connected primary schools and accompanies them to our location. In a homely atmosphere, children can relax, play and participate in activities that match their interests and developmental level.
