VSO De Boomhut

VSO De Boomhut is part of Stichting Humankind and is located at Volkerinksstraat 34 in the Rosarium district of Almelo. We provide before-school care (VSO) for children aged 4 to 12 who attend the after-school care facility De Boemerang. Children are welcomed here in the morning before they head off to school. Our location is set in a charming, characteristic building with spacious group areas. The indoor space offers plenty of opportunities for play and movement. The large, natural outdoor area is a real highlight: with trees providing shade, a vegetable garden, and ample space to explore and play. Children can build huts, touch and smell plants and flowers, and enjoy the freedom that outdoor play brings. At VSO De Boomhut, movement and nature experience are central. We encourage children to be active, both indoors and outdoors. Our qualified pedagogical staff provide a safe and familiar environment where children can develop and prepare for the school day. We consciously work on independence and social skills, so children can start their school day with confidence. We are open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. We are registered in the National Childcare Register under number 106356367 and offer space for up to 12 children in before-school care.
