Vrijbuiters

De Vrijbuiters is the after-school care facility for children aged 4 to 13, located at Batenstein 1 in Alphen aan den Rijn. As part of Junis Kinderopvang, we provide a trusted place where children can play, discover and grow after school. Our location is situated within primary school Het Spectrum, allowing us to offer a seamless transition from school to after-school care. Every day there is plenty to do at De Vrijbuiters. We play outside on the school playground or the playing field with natural playground and football field next to the school. Additionally, we regularly use the adjacent park for natural play experiences. Inside, children can do crafts, enjoy reading and relax in one of the seating areas. We have a gymnasium where we organize sports activities and where children can release their energy. Before school starts, we begin the day together with our breakfast club. From Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM until school starts, we have breakfast together and play for a while before bringing the children to their classes. After school, our pedagogical staff are ready to pick up the children from nearby primary schools. For schools that are further away, we use our own (bicycle) buses or arrangements with a taxi company. Our opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM and Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM. During holidays, we offer holiday care from Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. We are a BSO with a homely atmosphere where children can feel safe and be themselves. Together with our dedicated pedagogical staff, we make every day a celebration!
