KC Peelparel

Welcome to BSO De Peelparel, our welcoming after-school care centre in the heart of Helenaveen. We are located in the same building as primary school De Peelparel, so children can come straight to us when classes finish. Our space is cosy and small-scale: we have room for up to twenty school-age children to play, explore and unwind. We share the group room with the toddler care, but it has been specially adapted with corners and materials that appeal to 4- to 12-year-olds. We follow the Spring Actief programme, which means every week we create a varied schedule packed with exciting activities: sports and games, crafts, construction projects and anything else the children themselves suggest. The children help decide what goes on the programme, learning to make choices and taking real ownership of their free time. Our regular pedagogical professional walks the youngest children to their classroom in the morning and picks them up after school, giving parents complete peace of mind. Children who arrive before 7:50 a.m. are offered a free breakfast. We also have a spacious green playground where children can enjoy the outdoors. If extra care is needed at another location, Spring can arrange transport to BSO ’t Williplein when there is sufficient interest.
