Voorschool 't Ukkeltje

Voorschool 't Ukkeltje is a professional preschool facility operated by Swazoom Childcare, located at Lentestraat 34 in Driemond, Amsterdam Southeast. We provide high-quality preschool education (VVE) for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and stimulating environment. Our location is specially designed to optimally prepare toddlers for primary school through targeted developmental activities. At 't Ukkeltje, we follow the VVE program focused on language development, social skills, and school readiness. Our experienced pedagogical staff create a warm and safe environment where each child can develop optimally. We use horizontal groups where children come together in age groups, ensuring targeted guidance appropriate to their developmental stage. Our preschool offers half-day care, working with thematic activities that connect to the world of experience of toddlers. Children can play in various developmental corners such as a craft corner for creative development, a reading and listening corner for language stimulation, and a discovery corner for world orientation. This setup not only stimulates cognitive development but also the social and motor skills of the children. As part of Swazoom Childcare, we work closely with parents and primary schools in the Driemond area. We find it important that children make a smooth transition from preschool to primary school. Our location on Lentestraat is easily accessible and provides a familiar environment for children from the neighborhood.
