De Peuterhof Rehoboth

Welcome to De Peuterhof Rehoboth, located within the Rehoboth primary school building at Patrijsstraat 1a in Opheusden. We provide Christian Reformed preschool education for children aged 2 to 4 years. As part of the Foundation for Preschool Education on Reformed Basis in Neder-Betuwe (SVEG), we work closely with the primary school to ensure a seamless developmental pathway. Our Rehoboth toddler group operates with a horizontal group structure, bringing children together in age-appropriate groups. We offer twice-weekly morning or afternoon sessions, providing 240 hours per year of play-based preparation for primary school. Children with a VE indication can extend this to 640 hours. Learning through play is central to our approach. We sing together, make music, and engage in arts and crafts activities. Reading aloud is naturally included, along with developing language skills through interactive activities. We focus significantly on social-emotional development and vocabulary expansion. Our activities take place both indoors and outdoors in our secure garden and playground. Fruit and drinks are included during care sessions. We work with a dedicated team of involved pedagogical staff who personally follow and guide each child in their development. These developments are carefully documented in a child tracking system, used for parent conversations and the transition to primary school. De Peuterhof Rehoboth serves all toddlers in the Neder-Betuwe municipality who wish to grow and learn through play in a safe, Christian environment. We warmly welcome your child to our toddler group.
