Welcome to Voorschool Dikkertje Dap, part of childcare organization ‘t Veldmuisje, located at ‘t Bussche Kempke 2 in the heart of Ammerzoden. We provide preschool care for children aged 2 to 4 years. Our preschool is the ideal place where toddlers are playfully prepared for primary school. We follow the Uk & Puk method, a recognized early childhood education program that stimulates language, numeracy and social skills in a playful way. At Dikkertje Dap, everything revolves around safety, trust and fun. Our spacious, bright classrooms are designed to match the world of experience of toddlers. Every morning we start with a circle time where we sing, read stories and discuss the day. Afterwards, children work in small groups on activities such as crafts, building, role play and exploring at the nature table. We have our own outdoor space where children can run, build sandcastles and take care of plants. The garden is intentionally designed to provide natural stimuli and promote motor development. Our team consists of experienced pedagogical staff who understand how important the years between 2 and 4 are for a child's development. We carefully observe each child and tailor our activities to their individual developmental level. In between, there is time for a shared bread meal with fresh fruit and drinks. For children with allergies or special dietary needs, we have appropriate alternatives. Children can rest or take a nap in our quiet sleeping area, so they can end the day with full energy. Parents receive regular photos and messages about their child's experiences through our app. This way you stay involved in your son or daughter's development. We value parental involvement and organize parent meetings twice a year. Additionally, parents are always welcome to join in playing or help with activities.
