Voorschool De Speeltol

Voorschool De Speeltol is a small-scale preschool in Rossum, part of childcare organisation ’t Veldmuisje. We are located inside primary school De Bogerd, right next to the early-years classes. This setting makes the move from toddler to pupil almost seamless: two steps and you are already in group 1-2. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Children attend either in the morning or on three afternoons each week. We follow the recognised Uk & Puk programme, in which language, numeracy and social skills are offered through play. Our experienced pedagogical staff, Berga and Jeanny, create a safe, homely atmosphere in which every child has room to grow. The space is carefully furnished with natural materials that spark curiosity. We have our own outdoor area and also use the school playground. In addition, the toddlers enjoy weekly music and movement sessions run by specialist teachers from De Bogerd. Fruit, drinks and a healthy bread meal are included; accommodating allergies is a matter of course for us. Parents receive photos and messages through our app so they can follow their child’s day. In short, at Voorschool De Speeltol toddlers experience adventure every day, make friends and get a flying start on their journey to primary school.
