De Regenboog Daycare in Weesp provides care for children aged 0 to 4 in a warm, safe and familiar environment. We are located within primary school Wisperweide at Schoolpad 3, allowing children to become familiar with the school setting from an early age and ensuring a smooth transition to kindergarten. Our childcare staff welcome the children every day with a smile, offering support and listening to each child’s needs. We work with small-scale vertical groups, where children aged 0 to 4 play and learn together. This approach fosters social development and self-confidence. We provide trust, security and warmth so every child feels safe and has the space to develop optimally. At De Regenboog, a healthy and active lifestyle is central. We have a large green natural garden where children play every day – in all weather. There is a willow tunnel, a big sandpit, play cabins and a forest trail. Children can run, cycle, explore water and sand or hide in the willow yurt. Activities indoors and outdoors flow seamlessly into one another. We work with themes such as fantasy, movement, fairy tales and water. We craft, sing, read, act and do yoga. Artists, musicians or dancers are regularly invited to create together with the children. The focus is not on the result, but on the creative process the child experiences. Our cook prepares a warm, healthy and, whenever possible, organic meal every day. We involve children in cooking so they learn to recognise ingredients and discover flavours. We accommodate vegetarian and halal diets. Nappies, formula and care products are also included. We value strong communication with parents. This allows us to align guidance and care as closely as possible with the home situation. Together with parents, we take steps towards the future so every child has a balanced start in tomorrow’s society.
