Voorschool De Kastanjetuin

Voorschool De Kastanjetuin is a warm and safe preschool located in the vibrant Oosterpark neighborhood of Amsterdam. We provide professional childcare for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. At our preschool, learning through play is central. Children are given the space to discover, play and grow in a familiar environment. Our location at Tweede Oosterparkstraat 227 features a beautiful outdoor space where children can play and explore freely and safely. We work with permanent pedagogical staff who guide each group of maximum 16 children. This creates recognition and trust. We offer a preschool educational program focused on language development, motor skills, social skills and self-confidence. Our activities are designed to support the development of the whole toddler. We sing, count, puzzle, draw and read stories. We follow the children's interests and build our activities around them. This makes learning a natural part of play. We believe it's important that children can be children - they can get messy, use their imagination and discover new things. First time at preschool? We understand this can be exciting. That's why we work with a gentle settling-in period. The first time, parents stay with their child. Then we gradually reduce this, exactly tailored to what your child needs. Together we grow towards a familiar situation. Voorschool De Kastanjetuin is part of Stichting Dynamo Voorscholen. We have been officially registered since April 1, 2019 and have space for 42 children. Parents can apply for childcare allowance and we are happy to help with the application.
