Voorschool de Buren

Voorschool de Buren is a small-scale preschool for children aged 2 to 4 years, located at Nieuwe Looiersstraat 9 in the heart of Amsterdam. We are part of the Integral Child Center (IKC) De Kleine Reus, providing a seamless transition to primary education. Our preschool accommodates 16 children per group, organized in age-homogeneous groups. We are a VVE-recognized location (preschool and early education) and work with Startblokken, a pedagogical concept that is part of OGO (Development-Oriented Education). This means we work on your child's all-round development through play, with special attention to language development and social skills. Our location features its own building on the IKC schoolyard, with an enclosed playground where children can play safely. We take pride in our vegetable garden, where children playfully learn about nature and where food comes from. Our pedagogical staff guide the children with great care and attention in their development, starting from the child's world of experience. As a preschool, we offer both half-day and full-day care options, flexibly responding to parents' needs. We believe it's important that children feel safe and secure, giving them the space to grow and flourish at their own pace.
