Voorschool de Anbrenge

Voorschool de Anbrenge is the pre-school toddler group of Kinderopvang Dapper, located at Semsstraat 2 in Erica. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our setting is on the ground floor of primary school De Anbrenge, allowing children to become familiar with the atmosphere and structure of primary school at an early age. We follow the VVE programme Uk & Puk. This playful, comprehensive programme focuses on four areas of development: speech and language development, social-emotional development, motor and sensory development, and early numeracy stimuli. All our qualified pedagogical staff hold a valid Uk & Puk certificate and have at least language level 3F. They systematically observe the children using the tracking system ‘Doen, praten en bewegen’ and tailor activities to each child’s needs. The day starts at 8:30 a.m. with a welcome moment and a brief hand-over from parents. Children then engage in an activity such as puzzles, colouring or themed play. At 9:15 a.m. we have a circle time with storytelling, singing and discussion. After the fruit and drink break at 9:30 a.m., there is free play and a scheduled nappy change. At 10:30 a.m. we start activities linked to the Uk & Puk theme: crafts, sports and movement games, or outdoor play. The morning ends with songs at 11:30 a.m. Children who only attend the toddler morning are picked up then; the rest stay for lunch and afternoon activities. Individual child development is central to our approach. We provide a safe, stimulating environment where children can explore, experiment and learn to play together. We work closely with parents: you receive a verbal hand-over every day and we schedule a 10-minute meeting twice a year.
