Vondel

BSO Vondel is located within the Vondelschool at Schuttersweg 36 in Hilversum and provides after-school care for children in groups 1 through 3 of this school. Being situated within the school building makes the transition from school to after-school care seamless for the children, with no additional travel time required. Our pedagogical staff work closely with the teachers of Vondelschool. This collaboration ensures we know each child well and can tailor our care to meet their needs on any given day. We provide quiet time when children need to rest, or engaging activities for those who still have energy to burn. We use horizontal grouping where children of the same age are placed together. This approach provides familiarity for the children and allows our team to align activities appropriately with the children's developmental stages. During school weeks we are open after school hours, and during school holidays we offer full-day care. Occasional extra care is also possible, subject to availability. Parents can request additional days or swap days through our parent portal when needed.
