Vogelnest

Welcome to the daycare centre of IKC Het Vogelnest at Sperwer 1 in Sint Pancras. We are part of Stichting Allente and provide childcare and early childhood education for children aged 0 to 4 years under one warm and inspiring roof. With us, every child is central with his or her unique talents and qualities. We adapt our care and development to the level of the child, because we believe in an approach that follows the child. We strive to make a meaningful contribution to the development of our children by letting them be who they are and supporting their unique development. Together we learn to live with care and respect for yourself, others, society and the earth. Our daycare centre is housed in the brand-new Integral Child Centre that was completed in March 2024. The building was designed by BRT Architects and fits seamlessly with the village character of Sint Pancras. The spaces are specially designed to provide the youngest children with a safe, stimulating and homely environment. We work with horizontal groups where babies, toddlers and preschoolers have separate spaces tailored to their developmental stage. We provide early childhood education (VVE) in which we use structured activities for language development. Our pedagogical staff are trained in working with young children and speak Dutch as the language of instruction. We work closely with the primary school within the same building, creating a smooth continuous line from childcare to education.
