Welcome to after-school care Vlindertuin/de Boomgaard, located at Iepepage 2 A in Breda. We are part of Kober, a trusted childcare organization in West-Brabant. Our location is situated at primary school De Boomgaard, allowing children to come straight to us after school. At Vlindertuin/de Boomgaard, we believe in giving children space and freedom to become more independent. We actively involve children in planning activities. Whether they want to do foam cutting, organize a table football tournament, or play at the sports field down the street – anything is possible. There’s also plenty of room to simply relax with friends in our beanbags. Our location features a large outdoor area where children can run, play, and explore. We have our own vegetable garden where children learn about vegetables, herbs, and nature with the help of our pedagogical staff. One of our staff members has a sports background, providing extra sports and games challenges on the school playground. During school holidays, we love to go out by bike – think a picnic in the park or a scavenger hunt in the forest, but only after children complete the Kober cycling training. We also offer the Proeftuin program in collaboration with cultural center Nieuwe Veste. In these workshops, children explore music, dance, singing, storytelling, crafts, and drawing. Children can also enjoy extras like judo lessons and a warm meal service. We use the DoenKids program, a database full of activities, making every day different while still offering a consistent daily rhythm. We are open Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM. For before-school care, we are open from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. We pick up and drop off children at primary school De Boomgaard. Our location accommodates up to 36 children and is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 147122764. At Kober, personal attention is key. We are small-scale and familiar, yet backed by a large organization. We are here for children and parents – a partner in parenting. Feel free to drop by for a tour!
