SKSG Vlindertuin

Welcome to SKSG Vlindertuin, our daycare centre located at Knip 1A in the green Oostindie neighbourhood in Leek. We provide care for up to 56 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our focus is on creating a safe and familiar environment where every child feels at home and can develop through play. Our centre has three horizontal groups: two baby groups with specialised staff and a toddler group. In the baby groups we follow the Emmi Pikler approach, which centres on the baby's own competencies and possibilities. For the toddler group we use the VVE programme Startblokken, which works thematically on broad developmental foundations through play and activities. We value outdoor experiences highly. Our spacious, naturally designed garden – for which we have achieved the Groen Gescoord certification – invites exploration and play. Every day we take the children outside, even when it rains. Our pedagogical professionals know each child personally and provide individual attention, guidance and care within a consistent group. We are open from 07:30 to 18:00, with extended care available from 07:00 to 19:00. Nappies and bottle feeding are included, as well as healthy snacks and drinks.
