Vlietkinderen Zeppelin

Welcome to After-School Care de Zeppelin, part of the Vlietkinderen Foundation. Our location at Wijkerlaan 10 in Voorburg provides a homely environment for up to 44 children aged 4 to 8 years. Located on the playground of primary school De Zeppelin, children can come to us directly and safely after school. Our pedagogical staff are ready every afternoon to give the children a warm welcome. At BSO de Zeppelin, we work from a clear vision: children should feel safe, seen and valued. We offer a calming environment with room for relaxation, play and development. Our activities are tailored to the world of young school-age children. Think of crafts, building, playing games and enjoying outdoor play in our own garden. We regularly make trips to the playground, the forest or other fun places in the area. Structure and regularity are important to us. After a busy school day, children have space to unwind with us. We always start the afternoon with a shared moment: chatting about the day and having a drink together. Then children can choose what they feel like doing. Our spaces are atmospherically furnished with different corners where children can play, read or be creative. We work with fixed groups so that children get to know each other well and can build friendships. When children are ready for more challenge, they move on to BSO Stoer & Robuust. This is our location for older children from 8 years upwards. This flow ensures natural development within Vlietkinderen. At BSO de Zeppelin, we find it important that every child can be themselves and have fun. We offer a familiar place where children enjoy going and where parents can bring their children with peace of mind.
