Located at Eendenplein 2 in The Hague, Kindcentrum ’t Kompas is part of Vlietkinderen and offers after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12. Our BSO provides a safe, homely and stimulating environment where children can develop through play before or after school hours. Our qualified staff pick the children up from nearby primary schools. Once back at the centre, children can choose between quiet corners for reading or building, or take part in creative, sporting or technical activities. We work with fixed themes that match the children’s world of experience and also leave room for their own initiatives. During school holidays we organise extra trips and workshops, ensuring that days off are filled with fun and challenge. Collaboration is key: with parents, schools and the neighbourhood. This creates a warm environment in which children feel safe and seen. Our spacious indoor and outdoor areas invite movement, discovery and joint play. We pay attention to the well-being of every child and tailor our programme to their talents and interests. Parents are always welcome for a chat or to observe.
