Welcome to daycare 't Vlaegelke, located in the heart of the historic monastery village of Steyl. For years, we have been a trusted place where children aged 0 to 4 can develop safely and securely. Our small-scale daycare is part of the Vlaegelke child center and operates according to the vision of Spring Kinderopvang. With us, everything revolves around giving space. Literally, because our large, bright spaces give children all the room they need to be themselves and discover who they are. We have a professional team with familiar faces that stands ready every day with personal attention for the children. Our pedagogical staff create a safe and warm environment in which each child can develop at their own pace. Development at 't Vlaegelke happens on a custom basis. For the youngest, this means a daily routine with rest and clear structure, tailored to the natural rhythm of your baby. As your child grows older, we offer increasingly more challenge and preparation for elementary school. We use Spring Actief or a VVE method for this, so that play and learning flow seamlessly into each other. Outside is just as important as inside with us. Children can play to their heart's content in our spacious garden with its own vegetable garden. Here they learn about nature in a playful way and can release their energy. We offer a range of activities: from getting messy in the studio to enjoying a quiet moment together. Every day is different and offers new opportunities to grow and learn. Daycare 't Vlaegelke is housed in the same building as the after-school care and elementary school. This unique collaboration ensures a smooth transition and familiar environment for the children.
