VKDV Dea Dia

We are VKDV Dea Dia, a small-scale nursing daycare centre located at Gerard Douweg 4 in Arnhem. Our warm team of two paediatric nurses and one pedagogical staff member provides professional care for children aged 0 to 5 years with intensive care needs. Each child is assigned a fixed mentor who closely follows the child’s development and regularly discusses this with the parents. Our facility is safe, accessible and specially designed for a maximum of 7 children per day. We work in a horizontal group structure, with children playing and learning in small, stable groups. A nurse is always present alongside the pedagogical staff member, so medical procedures can be carried out promptly and expertly. We provide warm meals, healthy snacks and drinks, and take allergies and medical diets into account. The indoor space is spacious, with separate sleeping areas for the youngest children and a secure outdoor playground adjacent to the building. Access is secured and the air is continuously purified. Because we operate on a small and personal scale, we stay close to the families. We are there not only for the child, but also for the parents. Together we ensure that every child feels safe, seen and loved.
