Vivikids BSO-de Bron

Welcome to Vivikids BSO-de Bron, our cheerful after-school care located in the heart of Nieuw-Amsterdam. We are situated within IKC De Bron at Ganzenroer 2, where we have three spacious rooms at our disposal. Children aged 4 to 13 can enjoy free play after school hours. We provide care for children from CBS De Bron, public primary school De Bascule, and Christian primary school De Zwaluw. For children attending De Bascule, we offer free pick-up and drop-off by cargo bike, on foot, or occasionally by car. Our pedagogical staff are ready every weekday from 6:30 AM for before-school care and until 7:00 PM for after-school care. During holidays and study days, we maintain the same hours and organize an extensive customized activity program. We work with three fixed groups: the Flamingos for the youngest children aged 4-6, the Crocodiles for ages 4-13, and the Purple Dragons for older children aged 7-13. Each child has a fixed mentor, and groups may occasionally be combined, such as during vacation periods. We believe it's important that children can choose what they want to do. After school, we enjoy eating bread with toppings, fruit, or a cookie together. Then there's plenty of room for free play, arts and crafts, building, reading, or sports activities. We regularly organize fun excursions and adapt our program to group size and children's interests. Collaboration is our strength: we share a building with CBS De Bron and preschool De Bron, and there's even a speech therapist and family coach available in the IKC that our children can access.
