Villa Sterrenwacht

Welcome to Villa Sterrenwacht, our small-scale daycare centre located at Frans Huismansstraat 20 in Nunspeet. We are part of Stichting Kindcentrum Nunspeet, an organisation that has been a familiar face in the region for over thirty years, offering children a homely environment where they can be themselves and grow at their own pace. At Villa Sterrenwacht we provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. We deliberately keep our groups small so that every child receives the attention they deserve. Our qualified pedagogical staff guide the children in stable groups and see each child as unique. We do not punish mistakes; instead, we encourage making mistakes because that is the best way to learn. In this way children discover for themselves what is right and wrong and build their own development and identity step by step. Villa Sterrenwacht participates in early childhood education (VE). This means we align our play and development programme with VE goals, giving your child a solid foundation for primary school through play. We believe it is important that children learn at their own pace and we provide gentle support whenever it is needed. In short, at Villa Sterrenwacht your child has the space to be who they are, in a safe, familiar environment where development comes naturally.
