Wiedewei Rembrandtplein Oud-Beijerland

Welcome to Wiedewei Rembrandtplein Oud-Beijerland, the green out-of-school care centre located at Rembrandtplein 2 in the heart of Oud-Beijerland. We are part of Wiedewei, the green branch of childcare organisation Kibeo. Children aged 4 to 12 find a safe, trusted place here where they can relax, play and discover in a natural environment after school. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to give the children a warm welcome. We believe that being outdoors and contact with nature contribute to healthy development. That is why our activities often take place in the garden or we make trips to green areas nearby. Think of gardening, observing insects, experiencing the seasons and creative craft assignments with found materials. The rhythm of the group is aligned as much as possible with what the child is used to at home, so that every child quickly feels at ease. We offer both before-school and after-school care. Before-school care is open on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 07:00. After-school care is available on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday until 18:30. We pick up the children from various primary schools in the neighbourhood and bring them to school on time or safely back to our location. Parents follow what their child experiences and learns in a day via the parent portal; photos, reports and messages keep you informed. Our location has a spacious garden with play equipment, a vegetable garden and plenty of room to run, build or just relax with friends. We work with horizontal groups where children come together in age groups, but there is always room for joint activities. Cooperation, making friends and helping each other are central to our green pedagogical approach. Wiedewei Rembrandtplein is officially registered in the National Childcare Register and is regularly inspected by the GGD.
