Villa Poespas

Welcome to Villa Poespas, a small-scale daycare centre located at Hoofdstraat 141 in the heart of Velp. Since 2014 we have provided a homely, development-stimulating environment for up to 22 children aged 0–4. The setting is quiet yet central, just behind the main shopping street, and includes a private outdoor area that opens directly onto a playground we visit regularly. We work with two core groups: Felix and Minous. Each group welcomes 10 children on the same floor. Our professional staff use fixed monthly themes that follow the seasons and the children’s interests. Daily activities include arts & crafts, cooking and baking, music-making, reading aloud, singing and dancing. Twice a day we hold circle-time to talk about the theme, sing songs and practise listening to one another. We believe children thrive on safety, structure and routine balanced with physical, creative and spontaneous activities both indoors and outdoors. Whenever the weather allows, we guarantee at least one outdoor play session each day. Our garden and the adjacent playground invite exploration and fun. Location manager Simone Appels (qualified SPW4 and Bachelor of Child Psychology) has been leading the team since 2019. Together we ensure every child enjoys a happy, enriching day. Interested?
